Seneca Police arrests include Daylight Donut druggie disturbance, DWI

On 9/5/19, Officer Housley made a traffic stop at HWY 43/Avalon for multiple moving violations.

The driver, Janet Burton had two warrants out of Duquesne for: FTA Speeding and FTA Failure to Register a Motor Vehicle. Burton was transported to Newton County Jail.

On 9/2/19, Officer Housley made a traffic stop at HWY U/Bethel Rd for an equipment violation. 

The driver, Tony Thompson, had a warrant out of Jasper County for: Non Support. The passenger, Julia Horn had two FTA Duquesne warrants for: Peace Disturbance and Larceny. Julia Horn also had a bench warrant out of Cherokee County Kansas for: Possession of Methamphetamine. Horn was then transported to Newton County Jail.

On 8/22/19, Officer Housley made a traffic stop at Washington/St. Louise on an equipment violation. The driver was arrested for DWR, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and open container. The suspect was also arrested on a Carthage warrant for: Hit & Run.

On 8/21/19, Officer Pugh was dispatched to Daylight Donuts for a disturbance. 

The suspect appeared to be under the influence of narcotics. The subject was arrested Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Controlled Substance. 

The subject was transported to Newton County Jail.

On 8/20/19, Officer Thiel made a traffic stop at Cherokee/Delaware on a moving violation. 

The male driver was arrested for: DWI, Resisting Arrest, and C&I Driving and transported to Newton County Jail.
