Neosho, Goodman teens injured crashing into mailbox, tree

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash 6:08 p.m. Wednesday on Kodiak Road, one mile west of Neosho.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2001 Lincoln LS driven by Lloyd W. Courtney, 19, Neosho, ran off the left side of the road, striking a mailbox and a tree.

Courtney and a passenger, Christian Courtney, 15, Goodman, were treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
