Seneca Police Department makes arrests for DUI, Webb City warrants

On 8/23/19, Officer Housley made a traffic stop at Washington/St.Louise for a moving violation. The driver was arrested and transported to Newton County Jail for DWR.

On 8/22/19, Officer Fort made a traffic stop at Hwy U/Bethel for an equipment violation.

The driver, Jeremy Harris, was arrested on two FTA warrants out of Ottawa County for: DUI and actual physical control of a vehicle. Harris was transported to Newton County Jail.

On 8/17/19, Officer Housley made a traffic stop at the intersection of Cherokee/Oneida for an equipment violation. 

During the investigation, the driver identified himself as Barry Alvin. After running his information, Alvin had two Webb City Warrants for: FTA DWR and FTA No Insurance. Alvin was arrested and transported to Newton County Jail.

On 8/17/19, Officer Housley made a traffic stop at Cherokee/Washington for an equipment violation. During the investigation, the front seat passenger identified himself as Tybius Townsend. After running his information, Townsend had a Warrant out of Seneca for: FTA DWR. Townsend was arrested and transported to Newton County Jail.

On 8/9/19, Officer Housley was dispatched to a residence in reference to an individual trespassing on the property. 

Upon Officer Housley’s arrival, he saw a male kicking and beating on the door. The male was identified as John Duree. 

After running Duree’s information, he had a Newton County Warrant for: FTA DWI. Duree was arrested and transported to Newton County Jail.
