Two Greenfield residents were injured in a two-vehicle accident 3:30 p.m. Monday on MO 96, two miles west of Halltown.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2005 Toyota Matrix driven by Cecilia R. Kayser, 24, Chesterfield, attempted to cross MO 96 and struck the driver's side of a 2018 Ford Explorer driven by Zachariah D. Hicks, 33, Greenfield.
The Hicks vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and struck a sign.
Hicks and a passenger in his vehicle, Hailey E. Steimel, 26, Greenfield, were treated for minor injuries at Mercy Springfield.
