Lamar Fire Department responds to blaze at McDonald's

This morning about 1:30 we received a call for a fire at McDonald’s here in Lamar. 

When we arrived, there was a fire inside the southwest wall. We opened the wall and was able to extinguish the fire with minimal damage and were on the scene for about two hours. 

We would like to thank the city of Lamar electric department for the assist and the use of the bucket truck. The fire was reported by a assistant manager after it closed; no injuries were reported.
