Four people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 12:15 p.m. today on Lawrence County Road 1100 one mile east of Freistatt.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2019 Kia Optima driven by Amber D. Holm-Fields, 23, Sarcoxie, failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a 2008 Lexus driven by Patricia K. Arnaud, 59, Monett, causing it to overturn.
Arnaud was treated for serious injuries at Cox South Hospital, Springfield.
Holm-Fields was treated for moderate injuries and two passengers in her vehicle, a 1-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl, both from Sarcoxie, for minor injuries at Cox South.
