A Carterville woman suffered minor injuries in an accident 2:05 p.m. Wednesday on MO 249, a half mile north of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2002 International 4900, which had been driven by Loyd C. Wilson, 51, Carl Junction, was stopped in the passing lane with its emergency lights on when it was struck by a 1991 Toyota Camry driven by Nijah B. Brown, 21, Carterville. Ms. Brown's car skidded off the roadway.
She suffered minor injuries and was treated at Freeman West.
