MSSU Biology Club to plant trees for Earth Day

(From Southern News Service)

The Biology Club at Missouri Southern State University will host an Earth Day tree planting from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 22.
Six different species of seedling trees will be planted starting at the Biology Pond, and then along the riparian area of Turkey Creek as it runs through campus. All are welcome to volunteer their help for the project.
The Biology Club consists primarily of students who are biology majors, though anyone is welcome to join. Club members perform a variety of activities focused on environmental stewardship as well as projects that support their future career goals.
