Two teenagers were injured in a two-vehicle accident 9:10 p.m. Saturday four miles west of Oronogo on MO 96.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a westbound 2002 Daixi Zhenhua 3-wheel scooter, driven by Quenton R. Stone, 17, Carthage, was struck in the rear by a 2002 Chevy Malibu driven by Delrae Hignite, 17, Galena, Kan, knocking it off the roadway. Stone and a passenger, Samantha Ellis, 14, no address given, were ejected.
Stone and Ellis were taken to Freeman West Hospital, Joplin, with moderate injuries.
