Two men were killed after a motorcycle crossed the center line on MO 43, a quarter of a mile north of Seneca at 9:20 p.m. Tuesday and hit a truck head on.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol report, a northbound 2003 Yamaha motorcycle driven by Hector E. Huertas, 24, Carthage, crossed the center line and hit a Cherolet S-10 driven by Joseph R. Morris, 42, Neosho.
Morris was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:34 p.m. by Newton County Deputy Coroner Brian Artherton, who also pronounced Huertas dead six minutes later.
The fatalities were the 22nd and 23rd for Troop D in 2014.
