A Joplin man as injured in a one-car accident at 6:10 a.m. today on Route AA, two miles south of Carterville.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am driven by Chathen L. Roth, 28, Joplin, ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a utility pole. Roth suffered minor injuries and was treated at Mercy McCune-Brooks Hospital.
