Update
The deceased male that was located at the Hollywood Northstar 14 Theater this morning has been identified as Justin M. Roark a 34 year old male from Seneca, MO. There is no foul play suspected with this death.
From Earlier Today
On May 9, 2014 at approximately 8:32 AM, officers with the Joplin Police Department responded to the Hollywood Northstar 14 Theater in reference to a dead body that had been located in one of the theatres. A cleaning person located the body this morning as they were cleaning the theatre.
At this time, it does not appear that the death is suspicious in nature; however, the Investigations Bureau is investigating the death. We are not releasing the name of the deceased until family and next of kin have been notified.
