Due to an event in Ewert Park this weekend, Joplin Farmers Market will not be held in its usual location. Instead, several vendors will move to the Joplin Memorial Hall parking lot on Thursday from 4:30 – 7 p.m. and on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This week’s market will include fresh produce offering tomatoes, cantaloupe, peppers, cucumbers and green beans. Not all of the vendors will at the market this week.
City officials say the Farmers Market will resume its normal operations at Ewert Park next week.

There is no fee this year to be a vendor in the Joplin Farmers Market, and interested parties may contact Paul Bloomberg in the Joplin Parks and Recreation office at 417-625-4750.
