Granby man charged with DWI after accident near Neosho

A Granby man was charged with driving while intoxicated following a one-vehicle accident 10:38 p.m. Friday one mile east of Neosho.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2005 Nissan 3502 driven by Kirk D. Osburn, 35, failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the right side of the road and overturned.

Osburn received minor injuries, while a passenger, Eric M. Morris, 26, Granby, received moderate injuries. Both refused treatment, according to the Highway Patrol report.

In addition to DWI, Osburn was charged with careless and imprudent driving.
