A Webb City man was injured when his motorcycle struck a deer 4:10 a.m. today on Apricot Drive, three miles west of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by William L. North, 47, struck a deer that was standing in the road.
North was taken to Freeman West Hospital, Joplin, with moderate injuries.
