(From the Joplin Health Department)
Select vaccines are being made available at scheduled clinics in the month of August. These immunizations are for residents of Joplin, or for students enrolled in Joplin public, private, and higher education schools. The vaccines available at no cost are Tdap, meningencoccal, and HPV for those 11-26 years of age.
These special vaccination clinics are scheduled Wednesday, August 6; Friday, August 15; Wednesday, August 20; and Monday, August 25. Vaccinations may also be given to qualified residents on a walk-in first come-first serve basis on those days. You may call anytime to schedule an appointment during our regularly scheduled (Tuesday and Thursday) immunization clinics if another day is more convenient.
Other vaccines are also available for students according to state guidelines for Medicaid, uninsured, and underinsured Joplin residents.
Immunizations will be given in the upper level entrance (West side) of the Joplin City Health Department, 321 E. Fourth Street. Please bring your immunization record to the clinic with you!
Please call the Joplin City Health Department for more information at (417) 623-6122.
