Two Joplin teens were injured in a one-vehicle accident 5:21 a.m. today on 1-70 westbound at the 107.6 mile marker in Cooper County.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Chevrolet Impala driven by Savanna S. Stripling, 17, traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a median cable, overturned and came to rest facing east in the eastbound passing lane.
Stripling and a passenger, Gabriel Barber, 13, Joplin, were treated at Cooper County Memorial Hospital, Boonville, for minor injuries.
