Arrest made following threats at Crowder College

Crowder College administration was notified at approximately 8pm on Sunday, Dec. 6, of a possible threat to campus. Following investigation campus security contacted Neosho Police at 10pm.

When Neosho Police arrived on the scene, they took over investigation. At approximately 12am the individual was located in his vehicle on campus near the Brown Housing complex. He was taken into custody.

Upon further investigation college administration evacuated a majority of the houses at the suggestion of authorities. Students were moved to Davidson Hall, FEMA shelter, and remain there at this time.

CLasses at Crowder College Neosho and today's scheduled meeting of the Crowder College Board of Trustees have been canceled.
