Book signing set at Joplin History and Mineral Museum

The Joplin History and Mineral Museum is happy to announce the kick off of its Annual Membership Drive. To mark the beginning of this event, the Museum and Joplin Historical Board is hosting a Book Signing by Museum Director and author of the Murwin Mosler’s Joplin in the 1940’s book.

The event will take place from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday December 12, 2015 at the Museum. Books will be available for purchase at a special rate of $35 per book. With each book and signature purchased you will receive a special gift of a matching calendar with the same theme of Murwin Mosler’s Joplin in the 1940’s.

Refreshments will be provided. All proceeds from the book signing goes directly to the Museum for the preservation of Joplin’s and the four-state-area’s unique and colorful history.
