Joplin Police arrest man on drug warrant, failure to register as sex offender

(From the Joplin Police Department)

Incident Spotlight

Yesterday morning at 7:36 a.m. one of our officers, who is in field training, contacted two people walking in the road at 3rd and Wall.

A 37-year-old male was arrested for a Creek County, Oklahoma warrant for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute. The warrant had a $30,000 bond. He was also arrested for failing to register as a sex offender as he says he moved to Joplin a year ago but never registered his address.
