Rocky Comfort man cited for DWI after crashing into guard rail near Mount Vernon

A Rocky Comfort man was charged with driving while intoxicated following a one-vehicle accident 2:20 a.m. today on MO 39, one mile north of Mount Vernon.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1990 Chevrolet pickup driven by Tommy S. Webb, 38, Rocky Comfort, ran off the roadway, stuck a guard rail and overturned.

Webb, who was also charged with careless and imprudent driving and for having no insurance, was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Aurora.
