Two Lockwood residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident 1:30 p.m. Friday on Highway D, 10 miles northwest of Lockwood.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1995 International water truck driven by Justin A. Weimer, 37, Lockwood, blew the right front tire causing the vehicle to travel off the east side of the roadway and overturn.
Weimer and a passenger, Roger Stone, 50, Lockwood, were treated for moderate injuries at Cox South Hospital and Mercy Hospital, Springfield, respectively.
