Captain Juan Villanueva, commanding officer of Troop D, announces the results of Motor Carrier Safety Assistance Program SAFETE operations in Greene, Jasper, and Lawrence counties on February 9, 2018.
During the operation in Greene County, Troopers stopped 11 commercial vehicles and one passenger vehicle. Additionally, troopers conducted 11 commercial vehicle inspections which resulted in two vehicles and one driver being placed out-of-service. The following is a list of enforcement contacts made during the operation.

Troopers also issued 22 warnings for various other offenses during this operation.
During the operation in Jasper County, troopers stopped 12 commercial vehicles and one passenger vehicle. Additionally, troopers conducted 12 commercial vehicle inspections which resulted in one vehicle being placed out-of-service. The following is a list of enforcement contacts made during the operation.

During the operation in Lawrence County, troopers stopped nine commercial vehicles and seven passenger vehicles. Additionally, troopers conducted eight commercial vehicle inspections which resulted in one driver being placed out-of-service.
