Joplin man among two people injured in two-vehicle crash on I-49 in Bates County

Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 11:20 a.m. today on I-49 at the 138.2 mile marker in Bates County.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2012 Peterbilt driven by Jedariah D, Stipp, 39, Joplin, struck the rear of a 2000 Ford Ranger driven by William H. Dunlap, 80, Amoret.

Dunlap was treated for moderate injuries at Bates County Memorial Hospital, Butler.

Stipp refused treatment for minor injuries.
