Pittsburg residents arrested, cocaine, marijuana confiscated following execution of search warrant

On Friday morning, February 16, 2018, law enforcement officers with the Pittsburg Police Department served a search warrant at a residence located at 812 W. 1st St., Pittsburg. The search warrant pertained to the possession of illegal drugs.

During the search, several items believed to be cocaine, marijuana, and related drug paraphernalia were located within the residence, along with a handgun, which was determined to have been stolen from a residence in Pittsburg.

Twenty-eight-year-old Antaun R. Sams and 35-year-old Shawna M. Sams, both of Pittsburg, were arrested without incident and were transported to the jail at the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office for booking.

Antaun R. Sams was arrested for felony possession of cocaine, felony criminal possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, misdemeanor criminal use of a weapon, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Antaun Sams is being held in lieu of a $5,000.00 bond.

Shawna M. Sams was arrested for felony possession of cocaine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Shawna Sams is being held in lieu of a $3,000.00 bond.
