Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 3:50 p.m. Sunday on MO 43, three miles south of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2012 Kia Reo driven by Seth G. Shettlesworth, 21, Miami, Oklahoma, struck a 1989 Ford Taurus driven by Aaron A. Craven, 17, Seneca, in the rear.
Craven and a passenger in the Shettlesworth vehicle, Shawnay N. Enyart, 18, Wyandotte, were treated for minor injuries at Freeman West and Mercy Hospital, respectively.
