A Mulberry teen was injured in a one-vehicle accident 7:45 a.m. today on Route P, four miles west of Liberal.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2007 Mazda 3 driven by Cierra C. Pelican, 19, Mulberry, Kansas, slid off the ice-covered roadway, struck the ditch, overturned and came to rest on its top.
Pelican was treated for moderate injuries at Via Christi Hospital, Pittsburg, Kansas.
