(From the City of Joplin)
The Lost Photos of Joplin, will host a photo reunification event from 10 AM to 2 PM, Saturday, March 3, at the Joplin Museum Complex in Schifferdecker Park.
Joplin area residents will have the opportunity to look through books of photos and personal items that remain unclaimed from the 2011 tornado. The Joplin Museum stores the remainder of items while volunteers with National Disaster Photo Rescue hold periodic events in hopes to return priceless memories to those who may have thought them lost forever.
Unclaimed photos and items may be viewed on the Project Facebook page, Lost Photos of Joplin. For more information about reunification events or claiming lost photos, contact NDPR Headquarters located inside First Baptist Church of Carthage at 417-358-8161
