A Carthage woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident 7:54 a.m. today on I-44, one mile east of Halltown.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2008 Ford Fusion driven by Erika L. Sarceno, 23, Carthage, ran off the right side of the road and struck an embankment, causing the vehicle to overturn several times ejecting the driver.
Sarceno was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
