This project is one of several in the area focused on repairing damaged public infrastructure in residential areas. The recovery work is funded by HUD’s Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery program. No monies from the City’s budget are used for this or other recovery projects.
With this grant funding, HUD also issues deadlines for work to be completed. Joplin’s recovery work is due to be completed by the latter part of 2019. More information about this project, as well as all of the recovery projects, can be found at http://Joplingis.org/Dashboard .
