This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Elevated lightning risk.

DISCUSSION...

  Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will be possible from
  late this afternoon into this evening. Cloud to ground
  lightning and brief heavy rain will be the main threat from
  the stronger storms.





.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

  Isolated thunderstorms may occur Thursday night into Friday
  morning.

  Heat index values during the afternoon hours will approach the
  mid to upper 90s by next weekend.
