Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 4 p.m. Tuesday on U. S. 60, one half mile east of Neosho.
According to the Highway Patrol report, Jim L. Dumond, 84, Rocky Comfort, driving a 1997 Dodge Dakota, pulled out from a stop sign and failed to yield to a 2014 Chevrolet Captiva driven by Jewell D. Clark, 69, Diamond City, Arkansas, and struck the Clark vehicle.
Dumond, Clark, and a passenger in the Clark vehicle, Elizabeth L. Haynes, 85, Forsyth, were treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
