Three injured in two-vehicle crash on I-49 in Carthage

Three people were injured in a two-vehicle collision 1:40 p.m. today on I-49 in Carthage.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2018 Toyota Rav4 driven by Vu Q. Vo, 43, Morrow, Georgia, slowed when entering a work zone and was struck in the rear by a 1995 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Daniel J. Cantrell, 39, Garfield, Arkansas.

Cantrell was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.

Two passengers in the Vo vehicle, Catlinh Q. Vo, 8, and Cattian Q. Vo, 9, both of Morrow, Georgia, were treated for minor injuries at Mercy McCune-Brooks Hospital, Carthage.
