Baxter Springs residents arrested on meth, marijuana charges following search warrant execution

Three Baxter Springs residents are in custody following the execution of a search warrant Tuesday morning.

Just before 8 a.m., the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and Baxter Springs Police Department served the warrant at 736 East 20th Street, where they discovered and seized suspected methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Arrested at the scene were Robert Jones Jr., Jessica Ashe and Daryn King.



All three suspects were transported to the Cherokee County Jail on allegations of Possessing Meth, Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia. Bond for Jones and Ashe have been set at $5,000.00 each.

King, who is also a registered drug offender, faces additional allegations of violating the Kansas Offender Registration Act. His bond has been set at $12,500.00.
