This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited ice accumulation risk.
  Limited snow risk.

DISCUSSION...

A storm system will approach the area late tonight spreading
mainly snow into far southern Missouri towards daybreak. Some
freezing rain may mix in initially with the snow. Little in the
way of ice or snow accumulation is expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Accumulating snow will be possible across southern Missouri with
little if any over central Missouri Saturday and Saturday night.
Amounts across southern Missouri are expected to range from one to
three inches near the Arkansas border, with amounts decreasing to
the north. Some light freezing rain will be possibly early
Saturday, but icing is expected to be minimal.

Small forecast changes to the track of the system could still
result in changes to the weather forecast.

Brisk and gusty winds are expected towards the middle of next
week with gusts over 30 mph possible.
