Weather hazards expected... Limited ice accumulation risk. Limited snow risk.
DISCUSSION... A storm system will approach the area late tonight spreading mainly snow into far southern Missouri towards daybreak. Some freezing rain may mix in initially with the snow. Little in the way of ice or snow accumulation is expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. Accumulating snow will be possible across southern Missouri with little if any over central Missouri Saturday and Saturday night. Amounts across southern Missouri are expected to range from one to three inches near the Arkansas border, with amounts decreasing to the north. Some light freezing rain will be possibly early Saturday, but icing is expected to be minimal. Small forecast changes to the track of the system could still result in changes to the weather forecast. Brisk and gusty winds are expected towards the middle of next week with gusts over 30 mph possible.
