A Webb City teen was injured in a two-vehicle accident 2:54 p.m. Thursday on MO 59, four miles south of Diamond.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2007 Peterbilt truck driven by Roger L. Jones, 52, Republic, was stopped in the roadway in a construction zone when it was struck in the rear by a 2017 Jeep Renegade driven by Brandon J. Burnham, 20, Carthage.
A passenger in the Burnham vehicle, Olivia A. Hutchison, 16, Webb City, was treated for serious injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
