Joplin man arrested at Economy Inn with loaded handgun under pillow, 16 grams of meth

On 05/22/2019 ODET Detectives with the assistance of Joplin SWAT served a Search Warrant at 1700 W. 30TH Street Room #211 at the Economy Inn and Suites.

ODET Detectives located 16 grams of suspected methamphetamines in the Room along with a loaded Highpoint handgun under the suspect's pillow.

Logan Baker 30 years of age from Joplin was arrested at the scene for Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Charges are pending with the Jasper County Prosecutors Office. 

A female in the room was released at the scene.
