Labette County traffic stop leads to felony meth trafficking arrest

On May 2nd at 10:55 p.m. deputies from the Labette County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop at 22000 & Ford.

During the traffic stop deputy Tony Adamson ran his K-9, Memphis, around the exterior of the car, and indicated on the trunk of the 2008 Chevy Malibu. 








During a search of the trunk of the Malibu, deputies located two pounds of (ICE) methamphetamines, with an estimated street value of $90,000. Deputies also seized $1,933.00 cash. 

Deputies then arrested the driver of the vehicle, John Goodbar for possession of meth with the intent to distribute, possession of paraphernalia and marijuana. Goodbar is currently being held at the Labette County Jail.
