SWAT team called in after Webb City armed robbery investigation results in standoff, two arrested

(From the Webb City Police Department)

On Friday, June 14, 2019 at 06:51 hours officers with the Webb City Police Department were called to the 200 block of South Main in Webb City, Missouri in reference to an alleged armed robbery that had just occurred.

When officers arrived in the 200 block of South Main they met with the victim. During their investigation officers developed information that lead them to 1204 West Nelson.

When officers contacted the residents at 1204 West Nelson they were told that two additional subjects who were at the residence had active felony warrants, were possibly armed with a handgun, and were refusing to come out of the residence.

Officers confirmed the active felony warrants on the two subjects. Officers continued to call for the subjects to come out of the residence but the subjects refused.

Officers contacted the Joplin Police Department to assist with removing the subjects from the residence.

The male subject, identified as Kyler B. Dixon a 21-year-old white male from Webb City, came out of the residence and was taken into custody without further incident.

Officers with the Joplin Police Department’s SWAT deployed a CS gas canister into the residence. The female subject, identified as Jaden L. Lamarr, a 21 year old white female from Webb City, came out of the residence and was treated at the scene for CS gas exposure by paramedics with the Webb City Fire Department and the Metro Emergency Transport System.

Ms. Lamarr was taken into custody without further incident.

Both Dixon and Lamarr were transported to the Jasper County Jail on the following felony warrants:

Kyler B. Dixon Felony Probation Violation (Forgery)

Jaden L. Lamarr Felony Possession of Stolen Property
Felony Burglary 1st degree

An additional charge of Felony Resisting Arrest is pending with the Jasper County Prosecutor’s Office against both Dixon and Lamar.

Agents with the Ozark Drug Enforcement Team arrived and assisted with the investigation and search of the residence.

Inside 1204 West Nelson officers were able to recover some of the victim’s property that was taken during the alleged armed robbery.

Three occupants of 1204 West Nelson were released at the scene without any pending charges at this time. The investigation into the alleged armed robbery is still being conducted but we do not believe there are any additional suspects at large at this time.

We would like to thank officers from Joplin Police Department SWAT, agents with the Ozark Drug Enforcement Team, paramedics and fire fighters with the Webb City Fire Department, and paramedics with the Metro Emergency Transport System for their assistance in this case.
