Where: Fairlawn Ave. (Missouri Route 571) south of Elk St. in Carthage

When: 7 p.m.-6 a.m., Wednesday, August 5

What: All lanes of Fairlawn Ave. (Route 571) CLOSED to allow CWEP crews to move power lines

Traffic Impacts

-All lanes of Fairlawn Ave. (Route 571) CLOSED south of Elk St.

-Traffic diverted along Maple St. and Garrison Ave.

-Drivers should seek alternate route

Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.

This work is being done in advance of a project to build a new roundabout at the intersection of Elk Street/Fairlawn Ave./Garrison Ave. along with resurfacing of Missouri Route 571 between Fairview Ave. and I-49.
