Seneca Police Department makes arrests on drug, peace disturbance, dog at large charges

On 7/9/20, Officer Fort made a traffic stop at Cherokee/Ottawa for an equipment violation. 

The driver, Stacey Williams was arrested on a Joplin warrant for: FTA Insurance Required. Williams was transported to Newton County Jail.

On 7/8/20, Officer Fort made a traffic stop at Cherokee/Ottawa for an equipment violation. The driver, Steven McDonald was arrested on a Newton County warrant for: FTA Failure to Register a Motor Vehicle and transported to Newton County Jail.

On 7/7/20, Officer Zimmerman made a traffic stop at Hwy 43/Hwy U for an equipment violation. The driver had 18 warrants that weren’t extraditable. The passenger, Eva Rodriguez had 4 warrants out of Duquesne for: Dog at Large x2, No Insurance and Peace Disturbance. Rodriguez was arrested and transported to Newton County Jail.

On 7/4/20, Officer Fort made a traffic stop at Cherokee/Osage. The passenger, Jessica Soltow was arrested on 4 Seneca warrants and One Jasper County warrant. The Seneca warrants were for: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia x2, Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana. The Jasper County warrant was for: FTA Possession of Controlled Substance. Soltow was transported to Newton County Jail.

On 7/3/20, Officer Fort made a traffic stop at Cherokee/Ottawa for an equipment violation. The driver, Milo Stevens was arrested on a Greene County warrant for: FTA DWI and was transported to Newton County Jail. Citations were given for: DWS, Possession and Possession of Drug 
Paraphernalia.

On 7/2/20, Officer Thiel made a traffic stop at G&W Foods for multiple equipment violations. The passenger, Rick Ramos had 2 Seneca warrants for: Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Ramos was arrested and transported to Newton County Jail.

On 6/20/20, Officer Thiel made a traffic stop at Cherokee/Chippewa for an equipment violation. The male driver was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, then transported to Newton County Jail.
