Granby, Goodman residents injured in collision on 59

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision 6:43 a.m. today on MO 59 south of Spruce Drive in Newton County.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1985 Dodge Ram Charger driven by Brandon K. Yates, 20, Granby, crossed the center line and struck a 2010 Subaru Forester driven by Robin G. Fry, 65, Goodman.

Yates was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.

Fry was treated for minor injuries at Freeman Neosho.
