A Joplin woman was killed and another injured in a one-vehicle accident 7:05 p.m. Saturday on Route D at Ivy Road in Oronogo.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2008 Ford Fusion driven by Natosha M. Dates, 25, Joplin, ran off the roadway and overturned, ejecting Dates.
Dates was pronounced dead at Mercy Hospital, Joplin, at 5:07 p.m. Sunday.
A passenger, Andrea B. Stackhouse, 24, Joplin, was treated for serious injuries at Mercy.
The fatality was the 58th this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
