Lamar Police Department investigates reports of assault, fraud, theft

7/20/2020 Received a call of shoplifting at on NW 1st Ln. During investigation, Sgt. Cornell arrested a subject for DWI and Driving While Suspended.

7/20/2020 Sgt. Cornell responded to the report of an assault in the 1300 block of College. One person was taken to a 96 hour facility.








7/22/2020 Officer Lawrence took a report of a possible fraud in the 800 block of Oak. Investigation continues.

7/23/2020 Officer Lawrence investigated the theft of a bicycle from the 1000 block of E. 11th St. Bicycle was located and returned to owner.

7/25/2020 A pedestrian check was made by Officer Findley at the corner of 7th and Parry. A summons was issued for possession of drug paraphernalia.
