Neosho, Anderson residents injured in collision on 71

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision 7:25 p.m. Friday on U. S. 71, six miles south of Pineville.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Ford Mustang driven by Joshua A. Maggard, 20, Anderson, was crossing the northbound lane to make a left turn and was struck in the rear by a 2011 Kia Forte driven by Nicholas R. Tucker, 25, Neosho.

Maggard was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Bella Vista, Arkansas.

Tucker was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
