At the Carl Junction Community and Education Awards Banquet, the wonderful teachers below were selected as Award Recipients! Join me in congratulating:
• District & Secondary Teacher of the Year - Rachel Hensley!
• Elementary Teacher of the Year - Anna Brock

• Anna Brock – Primary 2-3 Teacher Impact Award
• Kari Buffer – Intermediate Teacher Impact Award
• Rachel Hensley – Junior High Teacher Impact Award
• Sophia Gutierrez – High School Teacher Impact Award
• Erin Wilson – High School Teacher Impact Award
These teachers were nominated by community members, students, parents, or other staff members through our "Teacher Impact Award" process, selected by their building administration, then interviewed and chosen by an objective external panel.
It was very difficult to pick just a small number of deserving teachers this year from our phenomenal staff. You are all heroes to us. Let's celebrate this group that rose to the very top!
