04/15/2021 Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of E 12th, where a male was sleeping inside a business. After checking his identification, it was found he had a warrant out of Polk County. He was arrested on the warrant, along with drug paraphernalia possession, marijuana/hashish possession and narcotics-amphetamine possession, and transported to the Barton County Jail.


04/17/2021 Officers were called to the 1200 block of Truman for a report of a man attempting to break into a vacant house. One male was transported to the Barton County Jail and issued a summons for trespassing.


04/18/2021 Officers were dispatched to a business on SW 1st Lane for a shoplifting in progress. During the investigation, it was discovered that the vehicle the subject was driving had been stolen out of Kansas City. The subject was arrested for tampering with a motor vehicle.


04/18/2021 Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of West 12th for the report of an intoxicated individual. Subject was arrested and transported to the Barton County Jail for Driving While Intoxicated out of Butler, MO, and one out of Barton County, along with pending charges for Driving While Intoxicated, Resisting Arrest and Driving While Revoked.
