Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 5:55 p.m. Friday on M Highway, eight miles north of Carthage.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2002 Chevrolet 3500 driven by Dakota R. Meseke, 19, Carthage, pulled into the path of a 2012 Ford Edge driven by Brenda K. Thenikl, 52, Pittsburg, Kansas, was struck by the Thenikl vehicle.
Thenikl was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
A passenger in the Thenikl vehicle, Carrie L. Lee, 53, West Plains, was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy McCune-Brooks Hospital, Carthage.
