Iowa woman cited for DWI after injuring 10-year-old Neosho girl, leaving the scene


A 10-year-old Neosho girl was injured in a two-vehicle accident 5 p.m. Monday on Norway Road, four miles east of Neosho.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2017 Kawasaki driven by Melissa J. Bartlett, 43, Boone, Iowa, backed into a 2015 Dodge Ram driven by Scot A. Zimmerman, 32, Neosho.







A passenger in the Zimmerman vehicle, a 10-year-old Neosho girl, received minor injuries.

Boone was cited for driving while intoxicated, careless and imprudent driving and leaving the scene of an accident
