Seneca Police Department Arrests

On 4/11/21, Officer Zimmerman made a traffic stop at Cherokee/Wyandotte for an equipment violation. The driver was arrested and cited for: Tampering with a Motor Vehicle 1st Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The subject was transported to Newton County Jail where he was placed on a 24 hour No Bond hold.

On 4/11/21, Officer Whitehead made a traffic stop on Washington for an equipment violation. The passenger, Jerry Slaughter Jr had multiple warrants. 1 Seneca warrant for: FTA Defective Equipment. 9 Neosho warrants for: FTA Possession of Marijuana, FTA No Driver’s License x2, FTA Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, FTA Possession of Marijuana, No Insurance, No Valid Driver’s License x2 and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Slaughter was arrested on his warrants and transported to Newton County Jail.

On 4/10/21, Officer Housley made a traffic stop at Hwy 60/Antelope for an equipment violation. The driver, Joshua Wingo had a warrant out of Carthage for: Parking Violation. Wingo was arrested and transported to Newton County Jail.

On 4/10/21, Officer Housley received a phone call about a suspicious person. The driver, Darin Rowden had 2 warrants out of Joplin for: DWR and No Insurance. Rowden was arrested and transported to Joplin where a Joplin Officer took custody.

On 4/10/21, Officer Housley made a traffic stop at Cherokee/Ottawa for an equipment violation. The passenger, Harry Hull Jr had 4 FTA warrants out of Seneca for: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana, and DWR x2. Hull was arrested on his warrants and transported to Newton County Jail.

On 4/9/21, Officer Housley made a traffic stop on Cherokee for a moving violation. The passenger, Tonya Thompson had a Parole Violation warrant out of Arkansas. Thompson was arrested and transported to Newton County Jail.

The male passenger, Patrick Marshall was arrested for 2 McDonald County warrants for: Moving Traffic Violations and he was booked on new charges. Both subjects were transported to Newton County Jail.

On 3/30/21, Officer Zimmerman made a traffic stop at Cherokee/Wyandotte for an equipment violation. The driver, Debra Gardner was arrested for 3 FTA warrants out of Seneca for: No Valid Driver’s License, Defective Equipment and No License. 1 Neosho FTA warrant for: Passing a Bad Check. The male passenger was arrested for: Giving False Information to Police and Obstructing Police. Both subjects were transported to Newton County Jail.

On 3/27/21, Officer Zimmerman made a traffic stop on Cherokee for an equipment violation. The driver was arrested and cited for: Possession, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and DWS. The driver was transported to Newton County Jail.
